St. Elizabeths East - Parking Garage at Parcel 6

The St. Elizabeths East Parcel 6 Parking Garage, located at 2700 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, is a 7-level, 750-space pre-cast concrete structure built to support the Entertainment and Sports Arena and surrounding campus redevelopment. The facility, completed in early 2022, includes two levels below grade and features future-focused design elements, including plans for residential units to wrap the structure.

Key Details for Parcel 6 Garage:

  • Capacity: Approximately 750 parking spaces.
  • Structure: 7-level pre-cast concrete design (2 levels below entry, 5 above).
  • Location: Intersection of Cypress Street SE and the temporary 13th Street SE.
  • Purpose: Replaces surface parking for new  development and serves the Entertainment & Sports Arena.
  • Development Phase: Construction was finalized in early 2022.
  • Future Integration: The garage is planned to be lined with a residential building (“The Malcolm” and “The Martin”) and feature adjacent community park space.
